The owners of Salsa Street Mexican approached me with the goal of rebranding their restaurant under a name that carried deeper personal meaning—Mi Chavelita. They wanted the brand identity to reflect cultural symbolism, specifically incorporating a sugar skull along with carnations. I explored several design directions, presenting concepts that balanced tradition with a modern, approachable style. Through collaboration and refinement, we landed on the final logo you see here—an identity that is both visually striking and deeply connected to the story they wanted to tell.
